How to Make Garlic-Basil Shrimp

  • 1 Gather your ingredients. You will need 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 1/4 pounds of large, peeled shrimp, 3 garlic cloves, 3 cups of cooked orzo pasta, salt and pepper, 1/4 cup of fresh basil, 3/4 cup of dry white wine and 1/8 teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes.
  • 2 Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add shrimp and cook for about 2 minutes stirring frequently. Transfer shrimp into a large bowl.
  • 3 Stir in garlic and red pepper flakes into skillet and sauteed for about 20 minutes. Add in a dash of olive oil if needed. Pour in dry white wine and cook for 3 minutes.
  • 4 Stir in basil and tomatoes. Add cooked shrimp back into skillet and cook over medium heat. Finish off by adding salt and freshly ground pepper to taste. Your Garlic-Basil Shrimp is now ready to be devoured.
